CONCORD, N.C., September 14, 2011 – There will be something a bit different about the look of the NAPA AUTO PARTS Dodge Charger R/T Ron Capps will wheel up to the starting line Friday for the first qualifying session of the fourth-annual NHRA Nationals here at zMAX Dragway.

To commemorate the month-long (September 1-30) “Great Breaks on Great Brakes” NAPA promotion, the word “Brakes” and pictures of brake pieces clearly surround the familiar six-sided NAPA logo on the Funny Car’s flanks.

“It’s a really cool look promoting a really great deal,” said Capps. “We are hoping to both get the word out about this great opportunity and hoping for the same kind of luck we had the last time we rolled out a unique-graphics package (the team’s first win of the season came last month at Sonoma where a PlatinumNAPAFilter™ design was unveiled).”

“Great Breaks on Great Brakes” is designed to introduce consumers to NAPA’s best brake products.  Qualifying products include Adaptive One, Ultra Premium and Safety Stop pads and shoes; Reactive One, Ultra Premium and NAPA Premium rotors and drums; Eclipse loaded and semi-loaded calipers; plus hardware, hydraulics, sensors and brake boosters.

Customers purchasing $150 of qualifying parts receive a $25 mail-in rebate, while those purchasing $250 receive a $50 mail-in rebate.
